Paris:11.2-9.14 Took the Eurostar under the Channel to Paris. This trip was highlighted with visits to the just reopened Picasso Museum after a five year renovation, the new Foundation Louis Vuitton and my usual art museums. I also tried several new bistros and restaurants.... The hour plus line at the Picasso was a burden and I should have phoned for a reservation to avoid such, but the wait was well worth it. If you like and appreciate the art of Picasso, this magnificent collection of the master's work has all periods of his work well represented. This guy, in my view, was the artistic genius of the 20th century. Here are a couple of his portraits that I don't recall viewing before the renovation and expansion.....My visit to the Foundation
